Greenup Industries’ team of experts guarantee that industry needs are met through effective solutions across a complex sector. Incorporated in 2012 in response to an expressed demand in the downstream petrochemical market in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama, we have continued to grow exponentially. We exist to fulfill a need in the oil and gas, construction, telecommunication, and other industries to consolidate one-off vendors and ensure consistency across various sites for large groups of contractors.

+ Steve Keen, Construction Manager

Steve Keen is the Manager of Greenup’s Construction Division. He oversees all of the construction related functions for Greenup Industries including planning, engineering design, estimating, and execution. Steve worked 35 years for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Construction and Project Manager for a variety of projects throughout South Louisiana and Europe. He has a background in Operations and Engineering/Construction Administration with an emphasis on strategic planning, relationship cultivation, and execution.

+ Kevin Dejan – Construction Safety Manager

Kevin Dejan recently came to Greenup Industries with an extensive background in the semiconductor, automotive and building products industries. He has earned many sales and service excellence awards while working in different capacities: Account Management, Automotive Remarketing, Territory Sales and Global Product Management. He also earned his MBA in 2009 from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.

+ Marlon Tickles

A new edition to Greenup Industries since 12/2019. Marlon is a seasoned Quality Control Manager(QCM) with proven performance in government construction management. Marlon also has experience as a Site Safety & Health Officer and Project Superintendent. He has worked on both sides as an USACE third party rep. and on the contractor side of federal projects. Has been working on Federal Projects since 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. This catastrophic event is what catapulted him into the field of Federal Government projects. A husband who has made New Orleans homes since 2000, a Tulane University alumni C/O 2003, where he met his wife to be.

+ Jamal Bates

Jamal Bates recently came to Greenup Industries with a background in government contracting and construction. His many years of experience has been working in multiple roles. He is young and talented, ready to help the company continue to grow as a leading company in the industry.

+ Naiika Bass, Corporate SSHO

Naiika Bass is very highly motivated and has been working in the industry for 11 years and 6 of those years she been traveling around the United States working as a Safety Professional. She has earned her Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from South University and Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University. She also trained and NCCER certified in Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST), Construction Site Safety Supervisor (CSSS), Field Safety, OSHA 30, and First Aid/C.P.R.

+ Rodney Greenup, President

Rodney Greenup is the founding member of Greenup Industries, Greenup Specialty Services, Greenup Corrosion Services and Gulf South Engineering & Testing, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience as a Project Manager and business owner. Mr. Greenup is a Mechanical Engineer with a Master's in Engineering Management from the University of New Orleans. Prior to working in the oil and gas industry, Rodney worked 20 years for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Supervisor and Project Manager for a variety of projects throughout South Louisiana.

+ Raquel Richmond, Account Manager

Raquel G. Richmond is an Account Manager with over 25 years of accounting, customer service, and professional services experience. Raquel worked for almost a decade as an Independent Contractor and Project Manager at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, on the Hurricane Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS), a $14 billion dollar infrastructure system in Southern Louisiana. During that time, Raquel brought her expertise in administrative services, personnel management, and federal regulation compliance. As a native of New Orleans, she was motivated by her love for the city and wanted to have an integral part in rebuilding her hometown after Hurricane Katrina.

Raquel received her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of New Orleans. She is a member of New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and is currently on the Board of Directors for the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, the public performing and visual arts high school for the State of Louisiana.

+ Niva "Becky" Greenup, Account Manager

Becky Murillo is an experienced Account Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the industrial and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Greenup in 2014, she worked for a civil engineering firm as a business development coordinator and as a health & safety coordinator and donor relations/event coordinator for a nonprofit organization. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2012.

+ Patrick Corbin, Software Developer

Patrick Corbin is the Software Developer for Greenup Industries responsible for management and development of the proprietary software Greenup Tracker. In addition to building and maintaining applications for Employees, Vendors, and Clients, he supports company operations through data analysis, process automation, and report development. Patrick received his BS and PhD in Mathematics from Tulane University and spent several years as a Professor at Loyola University New Orleans.
